The rough cut is done – yeah!

Getting the rough cut completed was a race against time, but we did it and we are proud! The deadline to submit Leave Them Laughing to some major film festivals was last week, so the rough cut needed to get done. A number of screenings with test audiences on the West and East coasts helped director John Zaritsky and editors Scott Doniger and Justin Cousineau finalize the film. For first time producer Montana Berg it was interesting to watch the whole process unfold. During audience testing, one person might have loved one scene and disliked another while another person might have actually preferred the opposite. Thankfully, there is one person to make the final decision – the director!
